Memo from Msgr. Raun - Monday, June 15th, 2020

My dear family,

Greetings in the Lord Jesus!

WAYS TO HOLD ON TO JOY IN TROUBLED TIMES Meditate on the Titles of the Lord

A perusal of the Hebrew names of God in the Old Testament, along with their English meanings, shows us the vast breadth of His characteristics.
The names all reflect his intrinsic traits and ways He relates to us. God is the Lord Most High, Everlasting, and Almighty.

These names assure us of His ability to withstand any onslaught—and are the foundation we build our security upon. He is our Healer, Protector, Provider, Shepherd, and the Strong One Who Sees.

What comfort these names bring us as we contemplate them. The Lord is Peace, The Lord is There, and The Lord My Banner all help us know we are not left hanging by a thread—we have a Champion who will take care of us.

“Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!" 1 Chronicles 16:10

THE WEEKEND went well in the parish, with more people at Mass, but none of the Masses reaching our 250 capacity. Remember the following:

HOW TO GO TO MASS:
1. All Masses - just show up. But remember that we have to close off the church when we reach 250 people in attendance.
2. Wear a mask.

3. Be prepared to receive Communion in the hand.

IF WE REACH 250 PEOPLE AT A MASS, and a person arrives after that, they will be invited to come to another Mass, or they can go to their car and wait, and they will be allowed to join the Communion line at the end of Mass. Together with this, we are now broadcasting every Sunday Mass on our new low-wattage FM transmitter, at 106.5 FM. You can receive this signal from anyplace in the parking lot of the church. If you still do not feel comfortable going into the church for Mass, you can listen to it in your car and at the end of Mass come in to receive Holy Communion!

CONFESSIONS:

that flow so freely and generously from your Sacred Heart.
Heart of Jesus, I adore you.
Heart of Jesus, I praise you.
Heart of Jesus, I thank you.
