Answer God’s call
to serve others
St. Thomas Aquinas is committed to providing a supportive environment to love and serve the Lord
Knights of the Altar
Knights of the Altar are trained to serve in Sunday Mass Liturgies. Children ages 6th grade and above are eligible to enter as novices and after a year of service become full-fledge knights. High schoolers, 9th through 12th grades, are additionally trained for the weekly Sundays Solemn High Masses and the Special Feast Day High Masses.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Pastorally appointed lay men and women are trained to assist the Priest and the Clergy at Holy Communion in the weekly and daily mass liturgies and the daily and solemn mass liturgies, as needed.
Lay men and women are trained to proclaim the first two scriptural readings at the weekly Sunday Mass liturgies.
Since 1996 our parish has been blessed with Perpetual Adoration, a Eucharistic devotion where the members of the parish take hours to adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament both day and night, seven days a week.
There is always a need for more adorers
Lay men and women decorate the altar and the church for major liturgical feast days (i.e. Easter, Christmas, etc.)
Home and Hospital Ministry (Homebound)
Home and Hospital Ministry is composed of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion trained to bring Holy Communion to the homebound after the homebound have received sacramental confession.
Sacristans are lay men and women who make preparations for the daily and weekly liturgies.
