Leading Teens to Christ
High School Teens
St. Thomas Aquinas is committed to providing teens with dynamic opportunities to encounter Christ. To live out their faith, change their lives and others, and to truly make a difference in their homes and schools.
Youth Ministry at St. Thomas Aquinas Looks different than other parishes. We are not a One Size fits all program. We have many different options for your teen to grow in their faith life. This means we are more than just a sacramental prep class or a confirmation class. There are no registration fees.
Registration is Open All Year for All High School Teens
Sundays 7pm – All Year Long
Our Life Teen program is a place to hang out with friends, laugh, play, pray, and come to a deeper relationship with Christ. Life Teen seeks to integrate Catholic teachings into our everyday lives and to examine how our faith impacts our friendships, decisions, and tough stuff – like peer pressure, grades, and social pressures.
Life Teen does many activities through out the year. In the past we have done Zip Lines, Rock Climbing, Laser Tag, Karaoke, Bowling, Trampoline Parks, Water parks and amusement parks.

What is Confirmation? Come learn what Confirmation is and how it will help you in your life. Ask those Questions that you have and find the answers that your heart seeks.
Teens who experience our Confirmation Program will find themselves drawn deeply into the beauty of Catholicism and the love of Jesus Christ. In a world searching for meaning, our instructors speak to the hearts and minds of our youth through comprehensive materials and an array of presentations. This is a new level of catechesis that uses modern methods to transmit eternal truths. This course is more then just classroom instruction.
Wednesday 7pm – Year Round
Summit; A Bible Study discipleship group. Each week, small groups of teenagers meet to dive into the Sunday readings and examine key themes and reflections, then discuss how God is speaking to them through His Word.
Contact Ed Leyba to find the Location that they are meeting at this week. This group meets at Coffee Houses, Restaurants, & Parks in the Community.
St. Thomas Aquinas Mission Trips are an unforgettable opportunity to answer the Gospel call to “go and make disciples of all nations.” We minister to the Youth of Haiti with work projects, home visits, & prison ministry, feeding the poor, visiting orphanages, praying together, praise and worship and more. We will explore a beautiful new country with beautiful people, while seeking Jesus Christ.
Our Youth Ministry Program requires a substantial team of volunteers working at all levels – from Core members who lead small groups, Instructors in a Classroom setting, to Life Support who setup environments and serve food. The challenge of our Youth Ministry is to access the wealth and diversity of resources within and around the area so as to provide a meaningful and effective faith formation program for High School teenagers which engage their energy, imagination, curiosity, compassion and playful spirit in an exploration and engagement of our Catholic faith.
At St. Thomas Aquinas we provide many retreats for High School Teens throughout the year. Retreats give students the opportunity to build a strong sense of community and belonging with their peers. St. Thomas’ retreats meet the Spiritual and personal needs of our teens as they grow and mature during their time in high school by offering a variety of retreat formats.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is not the end or a graduation, it is a springboard launching us into the Mission of the Church.
We use the Gift of Confirmation to go out into the world with our gifts and talents in order to serve. How do we do this?
The JCore program is for Confirmed teens that are looking to lead others to Christ within the Church and their Community.
The Program is designed to help teens develop leadership & organizational skills that not only help them in ministry but in their day to day Lives.
We recognizes the importance of ministry not only to teens but also to their families, especially parents. Parent Life Support is designed to help parents foster their teens faith. By gathering with other parents and guardians over dinner. We discuss the challenges and the achievements we have as parents.
Parents are empowered to have conversations with their teens by receiving the topics that are discussed in youth ministry for the month. They receive tips & tricks to go beyond yes and no answers and are given a solid foundation to journey with their teen in faith.
Parents/Guardians are invited when your teens are registered within one of our programs.
Registration is Open All Year
Mondays 7pm – Sept thru May
We journey with you and discuss those hard topics affecting your life and help you to navigate High School. We will cut through the noise of the world and introduce them to the truth about the authentic view of the the human person. We will look on how God gives us the Grace to handle our problems and dive into why we go to Sunday Mass.
By stirring teens thoughts, creating conversation, dispelling myths and inspiring the teens young soul to a deep and lasting love for the God, we look to not fill your head with information but to pierce your heart with transformation.
