Jeannie Pinel, a native New Mexican, was baptized and confirmed at San Felipe Parish in Albuquerque. However, her family left New Mexico when she was four and raised her in California.

While in California she volunteered in her parish as a Religious Education Teacher, Youth Minister, and was in charge of the Altar Environment. She also served as a paid Cantor for over 20 years and even held the position as the Administrative Secretary for a retreat program called Youth Encounter Spirit from 1978 till 2009.

She returned to Albuquerque 6 years ago and has worked at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish since 2006.  Her first position was the parish Receptionist.  She then moved to the Accountant Assistance position and also worked as the Bulletin Editor.

Jeannie is a parishioner at St. Jude’s Parish and she has three children, two in California and the third in Texas.
