"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601.

Generally a four month preparation period is required before a wedding may take place.  Our excellent pre-Cana program consists of the engaged couple meeting one-on-one for seven sessions with a sponsor couple to discuss different aspects of Christian marriage.  Please contact the parish office to set up an appointment to begin preparing and to set a date for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.  (505) 892-1511
